Careers in Action

Careers in Action’ works with LSDN to provide employability support and access to the labour market and for students.  We are updating its programme of services to provide high-quality and impartial career coaching; learning programmes to bridge the gap between school, college/university to enable positive progression for young people and those who have experienced disruption to their education for a wide range of personal, societal or other reasons.

 Programmes include: 

  • educational mentoring for at-risk students
  • support for learners with a learning difficulty or disability
  • booster clubs
  • gifted and talented provision (e.g. STEM)

Courses to include: 

Training and education in Arts, Business administration, Health and Social Care, STEM Subjects, Languages, Literature and Culture and Preparing for Life at Work

Services will be available to all students that enrol on courses, however it will be means tested.
